the natural high for your skin

Not to be confused with marijuana, hemp is it’s sustainable sister and it’s all kinds of incredible.

Hemp grows in a variety of climates and soil types with little water and no pesticides needed to sustain the crop, making it a farmers and the environments best friend.

Every part of the plant, leaves, stem, stalks and seeds can be used so nothing is wasted and the uses are almost endless.

Used to make food, clothes, fuel and building materials. Hemp may even replace plastic one day!

For use in skincare, hemp oil is extracted from the seed using a pressing method.

The hemp seed oil can be used on it’s own or combined with a cocktail of natural vitamins and minerals to create a skincare product which is hydrating and repairing.

The review

I have oily to average skin but in winter, I get dry patches around my nose and chin. To help combat the dryness, I tested Hempme Skin’s Face Cream for a month, using it as my night moisturiser after cleansing and applying a serum.

The face cream is incredibly nourishing for your skin. I noticed a reduction in the dryness, particularly around my nose by day two. It’s lightweight, with an almost watery consistency and you donlt need very much to cover your entire face, neck and chest.

I like it as a night moisturiser for when my skin is feeling parched and I’ve also been keeping a tube on my desk to use it as a hand and elbow cream. Works a treat!

“Hempme was born from the desire to create high quality skincare utilising nature’s most balanced oil, hemp seed oil.

Often stigmatised for its association with cannabis, we are excited to help bring the amazing skin qualities of hemp seed oil to light and clear the misinformation surrounding the incredible hemp plant.”
