Ethical Fashion Label Amilita’s New Black Orchid Collection

Kira Simpson

Byron Bay ethical fashion brand Amilita has released a new collection and it’s gorgeous!

Amilita is the creation of talented Byron Bay designer Sara Von  Trzcinski, who’s designs are inspired by vintage fashion and the women around the Byron Bay area with their relaxed, unique, confident sense of style.

With a brand philosophy of comfort, kindness and aesthetics, Amilita embodies everything I love about small Australian fashion labels.

I’m wearing the Azelea Maxi in the digital print. It’s made from a beautifully soft Lenzing Viscose, a fabric produced from sustainably harvested beech trees, using closed loop production so the processing chemicals don’t impact the surrounding environment.

We’re experiencing a drawn out summer here in Queensland, with the days still averaging 30 degrees, so this has become my new favourite throw on dress.
