Fair trade women’s clothing, block printed and hand embroidered in India.

Mata Traders is a women-owned label that has been making fair trade clothing since 2007, working with small and family-run artisan businesses in India and Nepal through the Fair Trade Federation. Their women’s clothing is block printed using carved wooden blocks pressed across large sheets of fabric, and hand embroidered by skilled artisans who have been practising these crafts for generations.

Made in small batches using organic cotton, Tencel, and modal across a size-inclusive range from XS to 3X, with a handmade jewellery collection in brass, wood, and natural materials.
