Baptist World Aid Ethical Fashion Report 2019 – How Australian Fashion Brands Rate

Kira Simpson

Baptist World Aid has released its Ethical Fashion Report for 2019.

The Ethical Fashion Report rates Australian fashion brands from A+ to F and sheds light on what the industry and individual companies are doing to address forced labour, child labour, and exploitation.

This is the 6th Ethical Fashion Report by Baptist World Aid, with 130 companies graded and over 400 brands assessed this year. More than a third of the brands have improved their rating since last year, standouts with A+ rating include Outland Denim, Mighty Good Undies, and NZ based Kowtow.

This year the guide is also available on the ‘End Poverty’ app available free on Apple and Google.

Vote with your wallet and encourage more fashion brands to end exploitation in their supply chains.
