The Story
After a trip to India in 2015, we witnessed first hand the impacts that fast fashion factories were having on local communities and the environment. Inspired to take action, we founded the brand Duffle&Co. Our mission was to prove that you could make beautiful products that empowered those who made them and use business as a force for good to help restore our planet.
As a BCorp brand, we want to have the biggest impact we can, which includes every step in our supply chain. All of our pieces are carefully handcrafted in a family run workshop, where we now employ over 20 talented craftsmen. Through the brand, we are able to support their families and send their children to school.
We also take sustainability seriously, using innovative materials such as pineapple leather and are working towards a zero waste shop through our circular economy initiatives and biodegradable packaging. As part of our goal to become carbon positive, each bag you buy plants 10 mangrove trees in Indonesia to restore biodiversity and wildlife populations.
Our mantra of buying less and choosing well means each of our pieces is considered capsule designs that are minimal on the outside and functionally formed on the inside; perfect for those who love the simple things in life but want to be prepared wherever they go.
