The Story
Handwoven stories, passed down through generations.
RŪPAHAUS works with artisan communities across Indonesia to create naturally dyed clothing and homewares, made with heritage techniques that honour culture and place. Founded by three sisters with ties to Indonesia, Australia and Germany, the brand is built on preserving traditions while shaping a more sustainable future.
Their fabrics begin with non-GMO cotton grown and spun by hand, then dyed with plants and minerals native to each region. Every piece carries the colours, textures, and stories of the people who made it — heirloom-quality design to wear, use, and treasure for years to come.
Why we love them: Pieces full of character and craft, made slowly and ethically by artisans keeping traditions alive.
