The Story

YEVU is a social enterprise and ethical fashion brand operating between Ghana and Australia.

We aim to provide fair and dignified economic opportunities to women from Ghana’s informal sector. Full-time employment, a sustainable income and technical skill training enable and empower women to access improved livelihoods for themselves, their families and immediate communities.

Our team of women, trained in pattern making, cutting and sewing, manufacture all of YEVU’s vibrant ready-to-wear ranges.

Every item is produced at our custom-built workshop in Accra. YEVU’s prints are carefully curated and hand sourced from West Africa’s wholesale markets by our procurement team, who sift through thousands of designs to find the perfect print, making each garment a unique tribute to the stories, colours and spirit of West Africa.
