Looking for something to do this weekend? You should check out Sustainable House Day.
This weekend, over 200 sustainable homes around Australia will open their doors to the public.
These are ordinary homes, owned by people, kind enough to let us into their space and share their experiences with building or renovating a sustainable house.

From solar storage and passive house design to tiny homes and off-grid living, Sustainable House Day is for anyone looking for inspiration and ideas for their own sustainable home.
Sustainable House Day falls on Sunday the 16th this year.
Over on the SHD site, you can find a list of the participating houses and events around Australia. You will need to register your attendance here.
There are some incredible homes on display. Even you’re not in the market for a new just yet; it’s worth checking out for the inspo!
