What began in 2005 as a boutique design label, has evolved into an online store brimming with gorgeous designs and treasures, brought to life by it’s passionate founders and designers Joel and Rachel Cooper.
Rachel and Joel have created a label made up of beautiful, wearable and timeless pieces, designed to be worn and loved for a lifetime.
"It’s about living beautifully and filling our precious days with design, truth, family, travel, art, music, inspiration and justice."
Their latest collection Meadow Soiree is made up of ten hand dyed, printed and embellished linens and soft rayons pieces, in the most beautiful earthy colours.
“We created our new collection ‘Meadow Soiree’ as a representation of our love for lush colour, our love for garden parties at dusk drinking champagne.. and our love for small details and embellishments that make garments all the more thoughtful and soulful.”
The offspring bag project
Rachel and Joel are passionate about sustainability and giving back so they’re using the off-cuts from their Birds Of Passage and Gypsy Moon collections to create a new and beautifully unique collection of bags.
They have also partnered with the Offspring Project, a wonderful organisation in India rescuing women from trafficking and providing them with employment opportunities. 100% of the profits from the bag sales are donated to the Offspring Bag Project.
I’m wearing the Meadow Soiree Maxi Dress in Rose and it’s quickly become one of my most worn dresses. It’s flattering on my curves and I feel so beautiful wearing it. The swishy skirt is also so much fun to dance in!
"the name… Frank & Dolly’s is named after Rachel’s Nanna and Popa. Dolly was a seamstress and fell in love after meeting Frank when making shirts in the war. Dolly taught Jane, who then taught Rachel, everything about sewing, creating, being resourceful, all whilst running a family and having a cheeky sense of humour."
