Ethical Fashion Brands Participating in Vogue’s Online Shopping Night Out

Kira Simpson

I’m the first to admit that Vogue’s Online Shopping Night Out encourages mindless consumerism.

They create this hype, “it’s on sale, so lets buy everything!”, which most us fall prey to. I’ve been there before and know how easy it is to be sucked in.

I don’t support or encourage mindless shopping, particularly buying only because it’s a bargain.

However, ethical fashion brands can be expensive so I see this night as a great time to invest in your sustainable wardrobe and find that ethically made piece you’ve been searching for, without breaking the bank.

There are some fantastic Australian brands taking part tomorrow night. Many are Ethical Clothing Australia Certified and some, like the Country Road Group, are making progress in the sustainable fashion space.

As always, shop mindfully and only buy what you love and will to death.
