An Opportunity to Invest in Australia’s Fastest-Growing Sustainable Living Marketplace

Kira Simpson

Sustainable living e-commerce marketplace The Clean Collective is raising capital using equity crowdfunding, giving you the opportunity to own a piece of this fast-growing conscious business.

The plan is to build an app that will act as your sustainable shopping assistant, and a personal development platform to guide your journey to a healthier, more eco-friendly lifestyle, assisted by some of the biggest names in wellness and sustainability.

Clean Collective crowdfunding

In less than two years, they’ve become the fastest-growing marketplace in the region for sustainable purchases and created the strictest standard for safe and sustainable consumption in Australia.

What is equity crowdfunding?

Equity crowdfunding is a new way to invest that enables anyone over the age of 18 to fund early-stage companies in return for equity. It helps companies like The Clean Collective access the capital they require to grow while giving you the opportunity to invest in a business you’re passionate about.

Why crowdfunding?

Because the issues The Clean Collective is tackling affect everyone, the team is keen for their community to join them on this journey, investing in the company, the future of the planet, and the future of humanity together.

“We’re so proud of what we have achieved with our customers, partners, and supporters in just 20 months (thank you!). We’ve seen an opportunity to drive a much bigger impact for people and the planet and we need investment to achieve it. The Clean Collective has never been ours – it’s yours. You give it energy. You give it a voice. You drive its mission forward. This is your invitation to join the team, join the cause and give our collective mission a boost that will drive seriously positive outcomes for human and environmental wellness. Are you with us?”  – The Clean Collective co-founder Charlie Thompson

"Our mindless consumption is killing us and our planet. The scientific data confirms we’re at crisis point."

The facts

The Clean Collective e-commerce business and blog will turnover $580K from 9.5K transactions this financial year and has attracted 400K readers, 80K social media followers and database subscribers, and 500 brand partners in its first 20 months live.

In the last 12 months, The Clean Collective has prevented approximately 2M litres of toxic chemical products being consumed, diverted 1.9M single-use items from landfill, planted 54K trees, and removed 6K pieces of plastic from the environment.

They’re raising capital to distribute its standard around the globe in the form of an app that will identify the world’s best product solutions via barcode scanning technology, and it’s transforming its blog into an online education platform of e-courses hosted by experts in human and environmental wellness, covering topics from diet, skin, hormones and mental health to waste and carbon footprints.

For every investment received, The Clean Collective has pledged to remove plastic from the environment via its partnership with Take 3 For The Sea, and every investor will receive a 12-month discount for the website and early-bird access and discounts to the app and e-courses in 2020.
