War On Waste is a new ABC TV series highlighting how much the average Australian wastes everyday.
Hosted by The Chaser comedian Craig Reucassel, the series tackles issues such as soft and single use plastics, over consumption, fast fashion and food waste.
Brace yourself, the facts are pretty confronting. In one episode they reveal that up to 40% of bananas grown don’t fit cosmetic and size standards set by supermarkets so they’re just thrown out. It’s insane.
