Fashion Revolution Week 2018 is almost upon us for another year!

From the 23rd to the 29th of April, conscious consumers will be asking brands: Who Made My Clothes?

For the entire month of April, we will be sharing more about Fashion Revolution, incredible stories, inspiring people and what you can do to be part of the global movement.

#HAULTERNATIVE OP SHOP TOUR with Op Shop to Runway

Eco Fashion Stylist Alex van Os of Op Shop to Runway will accompany you to 5 of Sydney’s best op shops where you will be provided with professional, expert styling advice. She will help you find particular pieces, advise on current trends, share with you tips and tricks on how to op shop like a pro to find those hidden treasures.

A.BCH FOR FASHION REVOLUTION

CUTPIECE is a two part workshop series centred on waste diversion and up-cycling, catered specifically to beginner and intermediate skill levels. Revolt… uhh, get involved!

The True Cost: Movie Screening and Presentation

The True Cost is a ground-breaking documentary film that invites us on an eye-opening journey around the world exploring the impact of fashion on people and the planet. It asks us to consider, who really pays the price of our clothing?

An evening of ethical fashion and conversations

Welcome ‘creative women with a conscience’,

We’d love for you to join us at our next tommie community event where we’ve teamed up with Jenny Leong, the Greens MP for Newtown, to present an evening dedicated to locally made, ethical fashion in support of Fashion Revolution Week!

Sustainable fashion tour

As part of Fashion Revolution week, the Green Living Centre and Reverse Garbage have joined to take you on a bus tour of some of the ethical clothing shops in the inner west.

The tour will cover op shops as well as shops that sell new clothes that are ethically made. It’s a great chance to have conversations about what “sustainable” means to you whilst finding a one-of-a-kind piece and it’s FREE!

Suitcase rummage Sydney 

Suitcase Rummage is a mini scaled market with giant rewards! We will be set up on the linear walkway and open space walking trail in the heart of Sydney!

Aimed at supporting emerging artists, crafters and second-hand marketeers. Suitcase Rummage is focused on fostering Australia’s entry-level entrepreneurs and their locally produced handmade, recycled and up-cycled products – from a suitcase!
