1. Big View – Boneo, Vic
This private and cosy tiny home overlooks the surrounding farmland, with incredible floor-to-ceiling windows on two sides with views over the Bass Strait. This tiny stay has a country feel but is still close to the ocean and a few vineyards if you’re after a cheeky vino. They only ask that you bring biodegradable products (shampoo, skincare etc) to help keep the local environment pristine.
2. Kimo Estates Eco Huts – Gundagai, NSW
These Architecturally designed eco huts are completely off-grid, designed to allow you to switch off from the busy world and help you feel connected to nature. The huts sit high on the hilltops with stunning 360-degree views over the Murrumbidgee River flats. Best of all, the huts each have hot tubs to help you relax and take it all in.
3. Unyoked Stays – All around Australia
Unyoked cabins offer a taste of off-grid living, created as a way of helping busy workers get back to nature without too much effort. Located in the seaside town of Lewisham, The Pod is a tiny architectural gem. The floor to ceiling windows that span the whole pod gives you uninterrupted breathtaking views across Clarks Bay. This tiny home also features a huge tub on the back deck and a fireplace for those chilly Tassie evenings. It’s perfect for couples looking for a romantic weekend getaway.
5. Hamar Tiny House – Currumbin Valley, Qld
This tiny house nestled deep within the Gold Coast Hinterland has stunning views of the Gold Coast skyline all the way out to the ocean. It backs onto a Wildlife Conservation Forest so you’ll wake up to the sounds of birds singing and kangaroos on your doorstep. Unwind in the hot tub, enjoy a glass of wine by the fire, and stargaze into the night!
6. Jude Cabin – Adelaide Hills SA
Jude is one of three tiny homes that share a working winery with her sisters, Matilda and Georgia. Each run off solar power, capture their own water, are self-contained, and deliberately wi-fi free. Completely surrounded by historic gum trees, you can totally surrender yourself to the seclusion with nothing but the gentle noise of birdsong from the resident boobook owls, magpies and honeyeaters.
7. The Boho Hut – Anstead, Qld
The Boho hut is a gorgeous tiny home located just 30 minutes south of Brisbane. Set on three acres of bushland, it’s the perfect place to disconnect for the weekend. You’ll find a warm timber interior with plush vintage furniture, and a comfy hammock chair on the deck where you can while the afternoon away with a good book. The best part, the resident wallabies are regular morning visitors!
8. Sandy’s Tiny House – Byron Hinterland, NSW
A bright and airy tiny house in a perfectly peaceful location, this warm cosy space is in a little world of its own. Planted on acres of lush green farmland, you’ll wake to the sounds of birds and the odd koala in the right season. This is the perfect place for rest and reflection, they even provide a meditation stool!
9. Quiet Lake House – Flowerdale, Vic
This beauty sits on the side of a peaceful lake that will have all to yourself. Here, you’ll have a wealth of adventures right at your doorstep. There’s a lake for swimming, kayaking, or fishing. The mountain out back where you can go bushwalking. Oh, and did I mention there’s a vineyard just down the road? There’s no shortage of activities at this tiny stay!
10. Hideout Cabin – Southern Highlands, NSW
This beauty is set on 140 acres of absolutely serene farmland, next to the beautiful town of Moss Vale and only 1.5 drive from Sydney. Here, it’s all about rolling out of bed for breakfast on the deck overlooking the lake in absolute serenity. The farm is also home to 80 horses and you can book horse rides!
